Process
To send a file over to us, click the ‘Upload a File’ button on the main navigation bar. You will be directed to ‘Step 1’ where you will see a form.
Next, fill out the form provided for you. This will help us keep your files organized and easy to find on our end. After you have clicked on the ‘submit’ button, you will be automatically be redirected to ‘Step 2’.
In ‘Step 2’, You will be given choices on a method to share your files. Option 1 will be to upload files to our Dropbox. Option 2 will be to upload files to our Google Drive. Option 3 will be to upload files directly to our site. Whichever option you choose is fine by us.
We require a minimum of 10 for cardstock, or just 1 for metal and glow-in-the-dark. Ready Comics is an on-demand print company that is flexible enough to suit your needs, big or small!
Note that some specialty items may have slightly different requirements. Such differences are explicitly mentioned within their respective product pages.
Accounts are optional, and can be created at time of checkout or clicking on the ‘login’ button on the navigation bar. Accounts are not necessary to place an order with us. They are used to retain your order history, and ease future checkouts and future functionality coming soon.
If you have a coupon or discount code, you will need to create an account to redeem it on checkout.

Lead Time is the time Ready Comics requires to make your product. This time may vary based off of order but normal turnaround is 15 business days after digital proofs are approved, payment is fulfilled, and not including shipping.
We process orders at a first come, first serve basis. If the order is at standard lead time, it could take up to 5 business days to receive digital proofs depending on the quantity of other expedited orders in house. If an order is expedited, you should be receiving digital proofs within 24-72 hours of order placement.
When submitting your order please include how you would like your items numbered in the order notes section or seperately via email. IE 1/10 – 10/10, 1/10, AP 1 – AP 10
You can get live, immediate pricing on our website. Just enter the specs of your order and look at the pricing matrix table at the bottom of the page to see pricing differences based on quantity. You can find pricing for books here or prints here.
You can also always email sales@readycomics.com and our sales rep will write up a quote that locks in your price for 30 days!
We unfortunately do not produce hard cover books.
Newspaper like stock is not able to be run through our digital printers. That stock is typically utilized during off-set printing. The closest option we have is going to be a 60# Matte Interior and 60# Matte Text – Comic Self Cover. Please request a sample pack from us at sales@readycomics.com so you can review all of our paper stock options nad find which best suits your project!
Technical Stuff
Once an order has been completed you will be prompted to upload your artwork. Once uploaded and submitted a proof will be emailed to you for your review.
Ready Comics checks our machines multiple times a day to make sure your prints are always consistent.
When you open a book, there are two pages – left and right. A page would be only one of the two sides that would make up the spread.
RGB color mode is for viewing your file on the screen or web. We send digital proofs in RGB. At the press we convert your images to CMYK during printing.
300 DPI(dots per inch) is extremely recommended for printing. Resolutions under 300 DPI can produce pixilation color errors in your image. 72 DPI is used for proofing. Be sure to give us an image that is 300 DPI or your print may come out pixelated.
Images must be at the intended size for print. If an image is submitted as an off size, for instance 13″x19″, with the intent of making it into an 11″×17″ print, there will be a significant portion of the image that will be cut, possibly creating undesirable results.
Images must be at the intended size for print with an extra .125″ on all sides for full bleed. If an image is 11″x17″, be sure to submit the artwork with an extra .125″ on all sides. The extra .125″ on all sides will be cut off.

You’ll need to provide two different files, one an overlay and one an underlay. The overlay is the original art piece with the parts you want in foil colored in white. The underlay is a blank white page with the same dimensions as the original art piece with the parts you want in foil colored black. You’ll want to expand the black parts on the underlay about three pixels larger.
No, the digital proof is only to ensure everything is within crop marks and nothing is in jeapordy of being cut off. Colors shown on a digital screen are not guaranteed to be the same when physically printed.
Shipping and Returns
Yes, we’ll ship your package anywhere that can accept deliveries.
Ready Comics Doubles up on our Packing to make sure your High Quality Artwork stays high quality. All of the artwork we print is handled with the best care until it leaves our property.
Magazines being sent as media mail only receive a thin plastic cover and might be mishandled by USPS. To avoid this, we suggest upgrading shipping.
If you need your prints yesterday you can opt to get expedited lead time for a small fee. We offer a 10 business day expedited option for a 10% fee or a 5 business day expedite option for a 20% fee. This puts your order in front of any other order in the shop so it can get done first. In addition, you can also opt in for expedited shipping.
If your order arrived damaged while in transit, with errors, or any other issues please email Sales@readycomics.com with the invoice number and photos of any damage within 30 days of delivery. If the product is deemed damaged and is not numbered then we will request the damages are sent back to us or proof that the items are destroyed before production of the remakes can start.

This is likely due to the weight or size of your order and is an error with our website currently. You can enter our shop’s address as the shipping address to place the order as local pickup – please then email sales@readycomics.com to get a seperate shipping invoice. You are also welcome to email prior to submitting your order and our sales associate will manually write up the order for you to circumvent this problem.
Unfortunately our website does not offer split shipping at thsi time. Please email your order directly to sales@readycomics.com so our sales associate can manualy process your order and ensure everything gets where it needs to go! If an order is placed online with the intention of split shipping, a supplemental shipping invoice will be sent to you from our sales team to cover any additional shipping costs.
All international orders require an email address and phone number of the recipient so that the shipping service may contact them if need be.
