Here at Ready Comics, we have one of the largest largest catalogues of foil colors and patterns to choose from. Standard Foil

Silver

A shiny silver color. A knock-out hit just about every time! Its neutral color makes it a perfect fit for any kind of artwork. Also works great as a spot foil!

Gold
A bright and shiny gold color! Works perfectly for grayscale art, black lineart, or as a spot foil! When used as a full foil, art with color can still turn out well if the gold foil background is taken into consideration while creating or selecting the art.
Ruby
A deep red color. Primarily useful for spot foil covers and prints. If you wish to use Ruby as a full foil, black lineart is strongly recommended, as gradients and other colors are harder to make out when printed on this foil.
Sapphire
A deep blue color. Primarily useful for spot foil covers and prints. If you wish to use Sapphire as a full foil, black lineart is strongly recommended, as gradients and other colors are harder to make out when printed on this foil.
Emerald
A deep green color. Primarily useful for spot foil covers and prints. If you wish to use Emerald as a full foil, black lineart is strongly recommended, as gradients and other colors are harder to make out when printed on this foil.
Amethyst
A deep purple color. Primarily useful for spot foil covers and prints. If you wish to use Amethyst as a full foil, black lineart is strongly recommended, as gradients and other colors are harder to make out when printed on this foil.
Topaz
A vibrant orange color. Primarily useful for spot foil covers and prints. If you wish to use Topaz as a full foil, black lineart or grayscale art is strongly recommended. Due to the saturated color of this foil, any other colors in your art will have an orange tint and may be difficult to make out.
Rose Quartz
A light pink color. This brighter color makes it a perfect fit for any kind of artwork, including pieces with full color. Also works great as a spot foil!
Tigers Blood
A brighter red color compared to our Ruby foil. When used as a spot foil, it is perfect for blood splatters or other details in a piece that you want to pop! If you wish to use Tiger’s Blood as a full foil, black lineart or grayscale art is strongly recommended. Due to the saturated color of this foil, any other colors in your art will have a red tint and may be difficult to make out.
Aquamarine
A vibrant blue-green color. Primarily useful for spot foil covers and prints. If you wish to use Topaz as a full foil, black lineart or grayscale art is strongly recommended. Due to the saturated color of this foil, any other colors in your art will have an orange tint and may be difficult to make out.

Holofoil

Rainbow Lava
Rainbow foil with a smooth lava pattern. Looks great with any piece of art regardless of the complexity or colors used! Please note that Rainbow Lava cannot be used as a spot foil, and our spot white option will need to be used instead to achieve a similar effect.

Rainbow foil with a rugged magma pattern. Looks great with just about any piece of art, but is a particularly excellent fit for artwork featuring skies and clouds! Please note that Rainbow Magma cannot be used as a spot foil, and our spot white option will need to be used instead to achieve a similar effect.
Rainbow Crystal
Rainbow foil with a kaleidoscopic pattern of crystal shapes. The vibrant details of this foil really stand out from the crowd, making it well suited for spot foils! But in its full opaque form, the busy pattern of this foil can make some artwork harder to see depending on the complexity. Available in opaque or transparent.

A light blue foil with a wavy ripple pattern. Looks great with any piece of art regardless of the complexity or colors used! Available in opaque or transparent.
Rainbow Sands
A rainbow foil with a glittery pattern that sparkles in the light! Compared to other intricate foil patterns, the finer details of this foil make it detract very little from any artwork regardless of the complexity. This means it works perfectly as either a full foil or spot foil!
Scarlet Sands
A bright red foil with a glittery pattern that sparkles in the light! Primarily useful for spot foil covers and prints. If you wish to use Scarlet Sands as a full foil, black lineart or grayscale art is strongly recommended. When browsing our list of holofoil options, you may notice that we offer “opaque” and “transparent” variations of certain patterns. The primary distinction between the two is that opaque holofoil is a solid layer that cannot be seen through, while transparent holofoil is a clear layer that can be seen through!

The production process is also slightly different. For opaque, the holofoil layer is applied to cardstock first, then the art is printed on top. For transparent, the art is printed on the cardstock first, then the holofoil layer is applied. The difference these processes have on the final result are best reflected in the example photos here.

Both types have their unique properties and advantages. Opaque is bold, vibrant, and shiny! There’s also more opaque patterns available, such as lava and magma. Transparent is more subtle and glossy in comparison, but still has those signature rainbow hues that make holofoil so popular! It’s a particularly great way to add a special touch of iridescence to art that is already colorful and detailed.
